【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandarddescribesaprocedurefortheestimationofthenetspecificenergyofaviationturbinefuelsusinghydrogencontentdata.Itisnotapplicabletopurehydrocarbons.Themethodispurelyempiricalandisapplicableonlytoliquidhydrocarbonfuelsderivedbynormalrefiningprocessesfromconventionalcrudeoilwhichconformtotherequirementsofspecificationsforaircraftturbineandjetenginefuelsoflimitedboilingrangesandcompositions.NOTE1Themethodisintendedforuseasaguideincaseswhereanexperimentaldeterminationofnetspecificenergyisnotavailableandcannotbemadeconveniently,andwhereanestimateisconsideredsatisfactoryforspecificationsandsimilarpurposes.Itisnotintendedthatestimatedvaluesofthenetspecificenergybeusedinplaceofexperimentallydeterminedvalues.NOTE2Theestimationofthenetspecificenergyofhydrocarbonfuelfromitssulfurcontent,hydrogencontentanddensityisjustifiableonlywhenthefuelbelongstoawell-definedclassforwhicharelationshipbetweennetspecificenergyandsulfurcontent,hydrogencontentanddensityhasbeenderivedfromaccurateexperimentalmeasurementsonrepresentativesamplesofthisclass.Eveninthisclass,thepossibilitythattheestimatescanbeinerrorbylargeamountsforindividualfuelsmustberecognized.NOTE3ThefuelsusedtoestablishthecorrelationpresentedinthisInternationalStandardaredefinedinannexA.
