【摘要】:Thisspecificationcoversrequirementsformaterials,dimensions,sustainedpressure,acceleratedregressiontesting,burstpressure,flattening,impactresistance,workmanship,andmethodsofmarkingfororientedpoly(vinylchloride)(PVCO)pipeforpressureapplications.ThePVCOpipeshallbejoinedusingelastomericseals(gaskets).ThejointshallmeettherequirementsofSpecificationD3139andtheelastomericsealshallmeettherequirementsofSpecificationF477.ThePVCOshallnotbejoinedbysolventcementing.Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thevaluesinparenthesesaregivenforinformationonly.Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodportion,Sectionofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
