【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversmanganese-siliconcarbonsteelplatesforuseinweldedboilersandotherpressurevessels.1.2Platesunderthisspecificationareproducedintwogrades.Thespecifiedminimumyieldstrengthdecreasesforthicknessesover1in.[25mm].1.3Themaximumthicknessofplatesislimitedonlybythecapacityofthecompositiontomeetthespecifiedmechanicalpropertyrequirements;however,currentpracticenormallylimitsthemaximumthicknessofplatesfurnishedunderthisspecificationto8in.[200mm].1.4Forplatesproducedfromcoilandfurnishedwithoutheattreatmentorwithstressrelievingonly,theadditionalrequirements,includingadditionaltestingrequirementsandthereportingofadditionaltestresults,ofSpecificationA20/A20Mapply.1.5Thevaluesstatedineitherinch-poundunitsorSIunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Withinthetext,theSIunitsareshowninbrackets.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemarenotexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemmustbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnonconformancewiththespecification.
